The Cover
Currently working with my team to produce a cover shot for Psychology Today magazine.
Its fascinating to know what little of a budget magazines will give to a photographer to shoot an actual cover. However, I’m working with a pretty solid team so I think we’re going to have a pretty great cover to show to our client.

My teams food shoot for Saveur magazine went extremely well.
I’ve realized how important it is for a commercial photographer to have a great team to work with. Not only does it make things easier with regards to the production (i.e. estimates, location scouting, model booking, equpiment renting) it makes the actual shoot so much fun.

Call Me By My Name
My name is Rene, yes its true.
I can’t remember the last time I introduced myself to someone by that name. Nowadays I simply go by Ren.
I’ll admit, speaking the word “Ren” most often will confuse people, so ultimately I’ll have to repeat it about three times before they actually understand that I’m saying “Ren”.
