My teams food shoot for Saveur magazine went extremely well.
I’ve realized how important it is for a commercial photographer to have a great team to work with. Not only does it make things easier with regards to the production (i.e. estimates, location scouting, model booking, equpiment renting) it makes the actual shoot so much fun.
We really had a great time shooting and collaborating...

Call Me By My Name
My name is Rene, yes its true.
I can’t remember the last time I introduced myself to someone by that name. Nowadays I simply go by Ren.
I’ll admit, speaking the word “Ren” most often will confuse people, so ultimately I’ll have to repeat it about three times before they actually understand that I’m saying “Ren”.

I’m currently working as a PC (Production Coordinator) for a environmental food shoot.
Basically I’m in charge of a shot list, keeping track of crew and talent and securing all equipment and inventory. It’s in the bag!
We’re scheduled to shoot tomorrow which is gonna be so much fun especially since I have a really great crew!
